Retelling a Story

After viewing the episode, put children into small groups to talk about what happened. Give students cards – Beginning, Middle, Ending to organize their story-telling in their own words.

Managing Disappointment

Explore the different emotions Bingo and Bluey had during the story. What happened when a balloon was popped?

Talk about the word – ‘disappointment’. (sad, unhappy, miserable) In small groups, students will talk about a time they were disappointed. Maybe when you were happy or looking forward to something, then the weather changed – I felt disappointed!

We can’t be sad for too long. How do we turn that disappointment into a better feeling?
